Jay, I just want to say even though you have heard it a million times before,,, dam, It's good. I havent long been on the 4am scene, in fact I have only ever been to two outdoor raves, one was in an old derelict building, there was about 2000 of us there for the love of the music and other stuff. [...] All the raves are no shut down in England with people getting big arse fines and or getting locked away for a few months. With only two raves under my belt, I have been slowly picking my way through c.ds. Your 4am trance was the 3rd c.d I bought of this style after buying the chemical brothers stuff. I still cant get over how good it is. It really does well [personaly]. [It does,] with me help take my mind to another level.... I get such a great euphoric feeling when listening to your c.d even when I have no stuff following through my blood. I still get small euphoric feelings. I have played the c.d a few times round my mates house when we all getting in a state.... even they agree that the music helps put you at a different level. We have searched high and low for c.d that comes close to this. We have a found one or two drum and bass c.d that help take your mind to another level but nothing comes close to what we experience when we listen to your mixes. We are desperately waiting for your next c.d which I hope you will be bringing out real soon.

Hi Jay. I am almost 30 yrs old, so I feel a bit silly writing you, but I just had to drop you a note to tell you that I just heard your music on my Mac, listening to a radio station called Proton. God, I was amazed. I have a wall of Cd's in my office and they consist of Oakie, VDyk, Warren, Seaman, and the lot. They are great, but none of them sound as good as you. You are without a doubt, one fucking talented guy and will sell a boatload of records if the world ever finds out. So let me know where I can find your CD's (I read that you released yourself) and when you might be playing in Montreal or Toronto. Again, I have never written an artist before, but I was taken aback by your music and wish you all the luck in the world.

Glad you liked the set! I like to think of music as an ageless and timeless thing, so don't feel silly that you're nearly 30 (I know quite a few ppl past 30 that love and enjoy the music) - and thank you again for the feedback. Seldom do people take the minute or two it takes to send a comment back, good or bad, but I can assure you that the positive feedback is definitely inspirational and keeps us going. Cheers!

Jay, I heard Protonic Sequences on Proton Radio ... liked it so much I was hoping to download the mp3, but I get a broken link on your site. Would love a copy, if it's still available. Thanks for the great music!

I apologize for the missing links... I am in mid-server switch and not all of the files were uploaded yet. They should be there in a day or so, along with other sets available for d/l. Thanks for your support! --JL

A few weeks ago you sent me your three cd's, and for that I certainly thank you. It took a little while for me to be able to give them all a proper hearing, but having done so I want to tell you that your work is truly excellent. As a fan of the deeper, darker progressive sound, I particularly liked the more recent two discs. These are certainly every bit as good as the stuff that's been released commercially by guys like Taylor, Jimmy Van M., Liam Kennedy, etc. I hope you can get more exposure for your work in the upcoming months. Of course, this kind of music is never going to gain a lot of public acceptance in this country, I'm afraid, sigh.

I have been listening to your cd since you gave it to me Back on Tuesday August 14th @ Parlay Lounge [in Manhattan]. Remember me - I met you with my friend Newsha (the girl with the pigtails) there at the bar? Well anyway, I have listened to this CD several times now and I love it. In this day in and age, when there is so much music out there from so many DJ's(famous and Unknown), and when I listen to A CD over and over again - that tells me that that CD must be good!!!!! Good job! Great mixing - seamless!!! I am currently learning to spin, and I can appreciate how hard it is to beatmatch up tracks. I hope my mixing will be anywhere near [as] nice as yours. Just thought I'd drop you a line. […] Also all my friends love this cd and I know other people you gave it to and the love it as well. For example - I was at my friends house and she pops it in and I was like I know this cd!!!! She goes to me - 'this cd has been in my cd player since I got it 2 weeks ago'.

Audrey Mayen (Staten Island, NY) - August 22, 2001

Hi. I was out with my friends last night at Parlay. You spoke to Nusha and Ed. I came in a little late, but you gave them copies of your music and I have to tell you, it's awesome. I'm listening to it right now. Great work!! I saw you at the bar right before you left, but was too shy to ask you for a copy. If you have any extras, send me one please. I'd like to have one with your label before you make it REAL BIG!!! Thanks and best of luck!

Jeannie Liou (Los Angeles, CA) - June 7, 2001

I listened to your entire album, it still blow my mind how creative some people are. It's too cool that you can put out a CD!! I liked it!

Brian Malloy (Sun Valley, CA) - May 12, 2001

Lici K (Los Angeles, CA) - May 2, 2001

Hi! Had to thank you for putting together such an enjoyable cd, SEQUENCES. Its great to bring some of your mixing onto the streets with me. EXCELLENT DANCE RHYTHMS!!! Keep it up, your hard work, [it] is truly appreciated. :)

Richard Acayan (Saugus, CA) - April 21, 2001

Adam and I are listening to you promo CD as I write. Now I remember clearly why I danced so much when you were spinning at Crystal. You've done a great job putting this CD together. Due to my lack of knowledge, I'm not a big critic on 'mixing', though I feel what makes people dance and lose their inhibition on the floor. When the music selection suits the dancing mood and delivered with your personal touch, dancing becomes so effortless and more enjoyable. I hope that Sequences reaches the the people who truly appreciate great Dance Music, who then would spread the word to the masses. Keep up the great work, and thank you for providing such great 'music'.

Tommy Buzbee (Laguna Beach, CA) - February 24, 2001

I was checking you out on the Groove Tech radio internet site on 2-23-01 and I was wondering if you have a demo cd of you spinning so I can distribute it to all of our locations. I own a few Graphic design studios in Southern Cal and all my designers love your style. Hit me up and let me know.

Evan K. Stone (Petaluma, CA) - February 23, 2001

I totally thought you rocked the house during your [Groovetech SF] set on Friday, February 23, and was wondering if there was any chance you might have a playlist made up at some point from that show? I'd really like to find out what the songs are that you've been playing - it was a fantastic show. Thanks!
